Macbeth

  1. No, Patrick Stewart was not as brilliant as you would expect him to be. He was quite a bit better than that.
  2. And still, it was Kate Fleetwood's Lady Macbeth that almost stole the show.
  3. But the real winner was the production and direction.
  4. And the icing on the cake? Sitting next to Marina Sirtis in the best seats in the house

I'm going to cry. But not quite as much as mtg is.

My friend Philip saw the production and thought much the same thing--the thing with the "sisters" being nurses and being onstage throughout seems like such a good interpretation.

I hate you all. I just spent the weekend in Georgia. Not London -- Georgia. And there was only one dead person involved -- although that's rather beside the point.

I miss being able to hop on the Tube and see fabulous theatre three nights a week. And then eating nothing but yogurt the remaining 4 nights, because I'd spent all my grocery money on tickets. OK -- so being a footloose, starving student in the metropolis wasn't all fun and games. But it was pretty damn close...

Killers, Make it so.

Out out, brief warp field.

Life is but a holodeck . . .

Make it so, Macduff.
